Ingredients for Cream of Broccoli
- 1 lbs. of Broccoli
- 1 tablespoon chopped garlic
- 3 tablespoon chopped Onion
- 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil
- 4 cups of chicken stock
- salt and pepper to taste
- 2 cups of heavy cream of milk
- 1 tablespoon of butter
- 1.5 tablespoons of flour
Preparation:

In a soup pot with medium heat, add vegetable oil, chopped garlic and
onions and cook for a minutes to sweat the onion and garlic, then add
broccoli and chicken stock. Bring to a boil and simmer for 15 minutes
or until the broccoli is tendered. Season with salt and pepper and
puree until the soup is smoothed.
~ in another Sauce pot add butter
and flour and cook for a minute add heavy cream or milk and bring to a
boil, add broccoli puree and bring to a boil, turn off heat.
~ In a soup bowl add about 8-10 ounces of the soup and topped with thin slices of Shoyu pork, garnish with whipped cream.
